Has your LTE connection been letting you down lately? Or did they all stop working together? Do not worry! You can try different solutions before blowing up your cell phone provider's hotline.
Turn airplane mode on and off
Sometimes the clearest solution is the most reliable. If your mobile data is bothering you, the first thing to try is to turn airplane mode on and off. You can easily do this by dragging the notification bar and tapping on the airplane icon, or you can do it through settings.
The routes may vary depending on the version of Android and the phone manufacturer, but you can usually turn on airplane mode by going to Settings> Wireless & networks> Airplane mode. Turn it on for at least a second or two and then turn it off. In many cases, your LTE connection will be lost.
Reboot your device
If toggling airplane mode doesn't solve your problem, now is the time for another test and a real step: rebooting your device. Just press and hold the power button on your smartphone and then tap Start. Wait a few seconds and turn it on again. Check your status icon, but also check the speed of your LTE connection by opening some websites or downloading some small apps.
Make sure the correct network format is enabled
Depending on your smartphone and carrier, you must have at least three types. Only 2G, 3G and 4G LTE or LTE. Normally your device will try to contact the faster option when available, but if you are targeting your settings or have recently installed an update, you have to adjust it manually. They will be. That's how:
1. Go to Settings, then touch Mobile network.
2. Select the network format. A pop-up list of preferred methods will appear.
3. Touch the Auto or LTE option.
Take out and fit your SIM card
If none of the above steps are performed, this issue can occur on the standalone SIM card. Take it out and carefully place it on the tray. Be careful when reinserting it into your device. Once you're done, your LTE connection should be back to normal.
Check if you are using the correct SIM slot
Some dual SIM phones only support LTE in one of the two available SIM slots. If you inadvertently misplace the SIM card, LTE may stop working. Try transferring the SIM card to another card.
